BEO Serija Čeljustnih Drobniki, ki jih štejejo za udarne drobnike z nastavljivimi čeljustmi, so sposobni drobiti materiale z zmerno do visoko trdoto, kot so apnenec, dolomit, granit in bazalt. Njihova sposobnost obdelave grobih materialov, proizvodnja kubičnih proizvodov, ohranjanje visoke razmerja zmanjšanja, delovanje pri visokih kapacitetah ter nizki investicijski in obratovalni stroški jih je postavila kot idealne sekundarne drobnike v drobivalnih in klasifikacijskih obratih.
Kamnite surovine, ki jih naložimo v drobnik, najprej udarijo rotorjevi kladivi v prvem območju, kar sproži prvi postopek drobljenja. To območje je značilno po visokem tlaku in drobilni moči, sposobni tudi drobiti zelo trde materiale. Željene velikosti drobljenega materiala preidejo v drugo območje, kjer material preide še eno fazo drobljenja in se dodatno zmanjša. Nato material preide v tretje in zadnje območje, kjer se odvija zadnja faza postopka drobljenja. V tej fazi material doseže najmanjšo velikost, ki jo stroj lahko učinkovito obdela.
